Started in 1974, WHSN is licensed to Husson University and Operated by the students of the New England School Of Communications.

WHSN is the training ground for students interested in a career in radio broadcasting at the New England School of Communications.

In it’s 30+ years on the air countless radio professionals have begun their careers on WHSN. Student staff have gone on to work at radio stations all over Maine and throughout the world. From Portland, Maine to Reno, Nevada.
