Olivia Jean Announces New Album Raving Ghost And Shares First Single “Trouble”.

Olivia Jean’s music is as bold as the color palette reflected in her album artwork. From the pinks and blues of her 2020 album Night Owl To the deep purple of her newly announced third album for Third Man Records, Raving Ghost. The new album isn’t set for release until May 5th but Jean has shared the first single, Trouble.

The new song is filled with the same garage-rock guitar fans have come to expect and it’s no wonder. “Ever since I was a kid,” says Jean, “writing songs and playing guitar has been an addiction that nothing else can touch. My guitar is an appendage. I could never put my guitar down even if I tried.” Raving Ghost finds Jean accompanied by Bo Koster (My Morning Jacket), Roger Joseph Manning Jr (Jellyfish), Carla Azar (T-Bone Burnett, Nikki Lane) and Patrick Keeler (The Raconteurs, The Afghan Wigs) on 11 tracks including a raucous cover of Enya’s 1988 hit Orinoco Flow.

Olivia Jean’s tour in support of the new album starts on release day in Nashville with a New England date May 10th at the Middle East Upstairs in Cambridge, MA.
