Greta Van Fleet Debuts New Single and Music Video; “My Way, Soon”

It’s been more than a year since we last heard from breakout stars Greta Van Fleet but the band behind hits like “Highway Tune” and “Safari Song” has returned with a new single that reflects on the band’s personal transformation since forming in 2017.

My Way, Soon” was inspired “by what three years of touring did by opening so many doorways.” says lead singer Josh Kiszka. “This is my truth, how I feel about all of our travels, but I know it echoes the experiences and changes of perspectives for Jake, Sam, and Danny as well.”

The video for the new single was shot, edited, and directed by the band themselves, with a home-movie feel it’s shows scenes both on and off the stage.

Greta Van Fleet started when the Kiszka boys and family friend Danny Wagner were in their teens but once Highway Tune took off they found themselves touring some of the biggest stages in the world, yet the band found a common thread while traveling the globe.

Guitarist Jake Kiszka says “The more we’ve seen – different cultures, people, and traditions – we’ve also seen a similarity between ourselves and these different cultures.  It surprises me how similar we all are.
