The Ghostbusters/NIN Mashup We Didn’t Know We Needed

There’s always someone out there trying to take music from one source and match it up with lyrics from another and it doesn’t always work…but sometimes it works so well we just have to share.

Youtuber William Maranci spliced together Trent Reznor’s vocals from the Nine Inch Nails 90’s classic Closer with the backing beat of Ray Parker Jr’s Ghostbusters theme. He sprinkles some of the NIN’s eerier elements to bring it all together in an extoplasmatic celebration.

People sampling from Nine Inch Nails is nothing new (Old Town Road anyone?) but we’re always up for a unique mashup!
