Foo Fighters Release Live EP & Encourage Fans to Submit to Their Archives

In addition to being a fine American rock and roll band, Foo Fighters like to keep their fans on their toes. They’ve done just that with the surprise release of a 3-track live EP titled 00950025.

A tweet from the band this morning announced that it was “a good day to take a look in the Foo Files”.

The collection includes Wattershed, Next Year, and For All The Cows. Two of the tracks (Wattershed & Cows) were recorded at the band’s 1995 performance at the Reading Festival. Next Year was recorded in 2000 at The Chapel in Melbourne.

If that wasn’t enough to get your Foo nostalgia churning, the band is now also requesting that fans submit their memories, photos, stories, and videos to a page titled Tell Us Your Foo Fighter Story on their website. It’s unclear what they play to do with the submissions but whatever they do, it’s sure to continue the long-running relationship between the band and their fans.
