Pixies announce new album release and debut first single ‘On Graveyard Hill’

Pixies announced today a new album titled Beneath the Eyrie will be released September 13th via the band’s new label Infectious/BMG Worldwide. Described as a place “where tales of witches, Daniel Boone, misfits and other characters fit utterly into the band’s inherent weirdness”, brings with it 12 new songs including the first single, On Graveyard Hill.

Produced by Tom Dalgety, Beneath the Eyerie was recorded in December at Dreamland Recordings near Woodstock, NY and the album gets it’s name from an eagles nest just outside the studio spotted by drummer David Lowering.

In support of the new album the band will tour throughout the fall and into 2020 starting with the Daydream Festival in Pasadena, CA on August 13th.

Fans can already preorder the album here where you can get the single on vinyl, the standard complete album, and a deluxe edition box set on vinyl, CD, and cassette.
