Tool Announce New Album Release Date

Tool fans have been patiently…well, mostly patiently awaiting an official declaration of a new album. The band has teased, retreated, reteased, and taunted fans with a new album for over a year.

Yesterday, Tool fans around the world finally received a definitive answer to the age old question of “WHEN“. The as-yet-untitled new album will be released August 30th, according to an Twitter post from the band.

When Tool performed at this year’s Rockville Festival the debuted two new songs, Descending and Invincible, which many fans expect to be included on the new album this August.
